PhD Studentship Opportunities 2018-19

Fully Funded PhD Studentship: How do bones acquire their shapes? Establishing a paradigm for the biology and mechanobiology of synovial joint development

A fully funded PhD Studentship for UK/EU students is available in the Nowlan group, to start in October 2018. The project will combine lab-based and computational modelling techniques to bring about a better understanding of how joint shapes form before birth. The project would be suitable to a candidate with a strong bioengineering, mechanical engineering or bio-mechanical engineering. Other suitable backgrounds will be considered. For more details on the project, please contact Dr Nowlan.
